Anne M. Lally of Medford died on Tuesday, April 12 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. A lifelong Medford resident, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Leydon, and the late Rita (Murtha) Macken and her husband James. Anne was employed as a social worker with Mystic Valley Elder Services for many years.
She was the beloved wife of Thomas J. Lally, Jr., and the devoted mother of Thomas J. Lally III and his wife Nancy of Beverly, Kathleen Mitrano and her husband Anthony of Weymouth, Sean Lally and his wife Tricia of Medford, Mary Johnson and her husband Philip of Bridgewater. Anne was the loving grandmother of Ryan, Kevin, Anthony, Nickolas, Joshua, Colin, Brynn, Declan, Isabella and Emelia. She was the sister-in-law of Patricia McGovern and her late husband Donald, Eileen Natale and her husband John, James Lally and his wife Elaine, David Lally and his wife Charlene, Jeanne Brann, Donna Lally, and the late Paul and Mary Lally, Michael and Noreen Lally, Geraldine and Edward Carnes, and Mona Vail. Anne is also survived by five step-brothers and sisters.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, April 19, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday, April 18, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
