CHICOPEE – Donna L. (Pelton) Sinowski, 65, of the Ferry Lane section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. She passed into Eternal Life at Holyoke Medical Center surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Springfield on October 31, 1950, a daughter of the late Wendell O. and Mildred R. (Tourgee) Pelton. She was raised in Springfield, graduated from the High School of Commerce and lived in Springfield for many years before moving to Chicopee in 1970. She was employed for many years at the former A. G. Spalding in Chicopee. She was a former member of the Ladies of the Moose in Chicopee. Most of all, she adored her family and showered them with her love and affection. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, John Pelton. She leaves her husband and best friend of 45 years, John J. Sinowski, Jr.; her four children, April M. Bottles and her husband, Anthony Torres, of Holyoke, Rebecca A. Lupien and her husband, Bryce, of Springfield, Jaime Lynn M. Abbott and her husband, Thomas Abbott, Jr. and John J. Sinowski, III, all of Chicopee; her ten grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren; her sister, Lori Lapan of Chicopee; and her many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Sinowski and Pelton families. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon followed by a Celebration of her Life Service at 12 noon at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will follow the service at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
