Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the age of 71. Preceded in death by parents Willmar and Virginia and by his two sisters. Survived by Keiko who he was married to for 45 years, his daughter Mary (Pat); his two grandsons Nick and Noah whom he adored and loved dearly; brother Bill (Linda); brother Bob (Wendy); loving nieces and nephews; and cherished relatives and friends. A Vietnam Veteran, Daniel proudly served in the United States Air Force for 12 years. A Minnesota Gopher Football Player and loyal Vikings Fan he loved sports and especially watching his grandsons play. He shared kindness and joy to all and always knew how to make someone smile. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service at 10:00AM, Monday, April 18th at North Haven Church, 2240 15th Avenue E, St. Paul with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service at 9:00AM. Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
