Isaura Cordeiro (Morgado) Amarelo, age 92 of Fall River, passed away April 11, 2016. She was the wife of the late Fernando Cordeiro Amarelo and the daughter of the late Manuel Cordeiro Morgado and Maria Conceicão (Arruda) Morgado. She was a parishioner of St. Michael Church and a member of the Sisters ‘of Rosary.
She was the mother of Fernando Amarelo (wife Vanda) of Swansea & Odete Amarelo (partner Gilbert Mendelson) of Fall River; grandmother of Monica, Jesse & Darren Amarelo; great grandmother of Arden & Avery. She was the sister of the late Adriana Cordeiro.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Saturday at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 4-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
