Brenda M. "Bunny" (Roderick) Farland, 59, of New Bedford, died unexpectedly April 8, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Roland G. Farland, Jr., and the daughter of the late John and Mable Roderick.
Born in Dartmouth on December 19, 1956, she was a graduate of Dartmouth High School and attended Kinyon-Campbell Business School. She enjoyed vacationing and spending anytime she could with her loving family. She touched the hearts of everyone she knew.
Bunny is survived by her loving husband; her two daughters, whom she loved dearly, Tracy Dearaujo of New Bedford and Rachael Lewis and her husband Gary Hathaway of Acushnet; her three stepsons, whom she adored, Roland G. Farland III and his wife Rhonda of Swansea, Dana Farland and his wife Stephanie of South Carolina, and Christian Farland and his wife Elizabeth of New Bedford; 15 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Shawn A. Lewis.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 15th at 12 Noon in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation will be from 9 AM - 12 Noon on Friday, prior to the Service. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
