Alfred D. Tiberi of Dedham, died July 4, 2005 at the Stanley Tippett House in Needham. He was 78. Mr. Tiberi was born in Readville and was the son of the late John and Domenica (Antinarelli) Tiberi. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. After serving in the military Mr. Tiberi worked as a welder for Cryovac Co. of Woburn for 30 years. He lived in Dedham since 1953 and was a member of the Dedham VFW Jacob Jones Post 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Killilea) Tiberi for 33 years.
He was the devoted father of Linda M. Leary and her husband Stephen of Alexandria, NH, John A. Tiberi of Reno, NVand Donna M. Iafolla and her husband Kent of Franklin. Dear grandfather of Keith, Shane, Kristen, Katelyn and Michael. Great grandfather of Dylan. Brother of Nelly Fata of Dedham, Virginia Brown of Billerica, Rose Nicholson of Brockton, John Tiberi of Randolph, Lorraine Walsh of Dedham and the late Rita Tiberi and Eleanor Russell.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Thursday at 8:00 am. Funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 9:00 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 pm. Interment in Knollwood Memorial park, Canton.
