Janice M. (O’Brien) Grasso, age 77 of Brockton died Sunday April 10, 2016 peacefully at her home after a long illness. She was surrounded by her family. Janice was the loving wife of Vincent A. Grasso for 57 years.
Janice was born and raised in Dedham, a daughter of the late Walter and Josephine (Webster) O’Brien. She had been a resident of Brockton for the past 52 years. She was a stay at home mom whose life revolved around her children.
She enjoyed her two grandchildren and attending their sporting events, surely their biggest fan. In her free time, Janice enjoyed playing bingo and also looking forward to trips to Foxwoods.
Janice was the mother of Denise Willis and her husband Mark of Raynham, Donna Sneider of Plymouth, David Grasso of Brockton and the late Michael Grasso. She also leaves 2 grandsons, Matthew and Markie Willis. She was the sister of Kenny O’Brien of Bourne and the late Walter O’Brien, Jr., Robert O’Brien, Edward O’Brien, Dorothy Spada, and Barbara O’Mara. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123) Brockton on Wednesday 4-8 pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 8am for a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church at 9am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
