Winfree, Leslie Earl “Sarg, Les”, 88, of Louisville passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016.
Les was a native of Nashville, ILL and had retired as a Sgt./Cook for the U. S. Army during WWII, Korean, Vietnam Wars & a crane operator for Louisville Gas & Electric Company.
Preceded in death by his 1st wife Gladys & 2nd wife Margaret Winfree.
Survivors include by his sister, Alice Lawhorn; two brothers, Raymond & Robert Winfree; nephew, Don Winfree; daughter-in-law, Brenda Deacon; step-daughters, Barbara Blankenship & Debbie Coley; also several grand & great grandchildren that knew him as Papaw Les.
Visitation will be 3:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. EST Friday at Greenwood Cemetery in Nashville, ILL.
