Teresa A. (Moschella) Sabella of Stoneham, formerly of Medford, died on Saturday, April 9, at the Winchester Hospital. Born and raised in Boston's North End, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Canele) Moschella. Teresa lived in Boston's West End for many years before settling in Medford.
Teresa was the beloved wife of Salvatore Sabella, and the devoted mother of Diana Sabella of Boston, Stephen Sabella and his wife Sheralie of Omaha, NE, Lucille Mello and her husband William of Medford, Terri-Marie Assous and her husband Andre of New York, NY, and the late Michael Sabella. She was the loving grandmother of Michael Sabella and his wife Jenni, Hope Mello, Christopher Sabella and Joy Assous, and the loving great grandmother of Ryne-Ann Sabella. Teresa was the sister of the late William "Billy," Michael "Junior," Constantino "Dinny," Anthony "Mash," Theodore "Teddy," Antoinetta "Nan" and Rose "Rosie."
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, April 16, at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, April 15, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
