Robert Morton Andrews, Jr. 81 died peacefully at his home in South Carver. Bob was born in Sandwich, MA and moved to South Carver at age 4 with his parents, Robert M and Almeda “Gibbs” Andrews and his sisters Bette, Roberta and Donna. He was predeceased by his wife Sally (Korth) Andrews. Bob graduated from Plymouth High School. He then enlisted in the Army. Upon returning home he married his high school sweetheart Sally. He went to work for New England Telephone Company as a lineman and retired after 40 years of service. Bob enjoyed his family, gardening, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his son Robert M Andrews III and his wife, MaryAnn of South Carver, Rebecca Bennie and her husband Mark, and three grandchildren Michael, Andrew, and Megan of Plymouth. Visiting hours will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4 to 8PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Route 58), Carver MA. A funeral service will be held at The Union Church in South Carver on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery following the service.
