NATICK: Kerrie A. Kent, age 42, died at her Natick home on Thursday, April 7, 2016. She was the beloved daughter of Louise M. (Ralli) Kent of Natick and the late Robert J. Kent.
Born in Boston, Kerrie was raised and educated in Natick, graduating with the Natick High School Class of 1991. She continued her education at Framingham State and Mass Bay Community Colleges and then worked for a time as an Administrative Assistant for a Boston law firm.
Kerrie was employed for many years with Walgreens as a Pharmacy Technician at their Natick location. Very loving and devoted to family, she looked forward to events and holidays that lent themselves to gatherings, large or small. She enjoyed listening to music and keeping abreast of social media, often chatting via Facebook into the wee hours with her brother, Paulie. Kerrie had most recently been a sales rep for Younique Cosmetics.
In addition to Louise, Bob, and her “Papa,” George Vouros of Natick, Kerrie was blessed with a second family, mother Cindy Shaughnessy and her husband Paul of Braintree; a sister, Amy Brislin and her husband Sean of Hawaii; and a brother, Paul Shaughnessy, Jr. of Braintree. She is also survived by her two nieces and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Her funeral will be from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, Wednesday at 10:00AM with a Mass of Christian burial in Saint Patrick’s Church at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, 4 – 7PM. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
