Obituary

SALEM - Gregory P. Lupo, 89, of Salem, husband of the late Dorothy A, (McMillin) Lupo, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, with family by his side.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Peter G. and Angela (Gregory) Lupo and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mr Lupo was a Navy Veteran of WWII, attained the rating of Seaman Second Class and was a life member of the DAV.

He was employed for over 40 years at H. P. Nelson in Salem and retired as the general manager.

Mr Lupo is survived by one son, Peter Lupo of Salem, one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Daniel Richard of Gilford, NH, his girlfriend of 17 years, Joanne Hall, two grandchildren, Jason and his wife Kathy Richard, Kerry and her husband Christopher Rader, two great grandchildren, Leyah Richard, Tucker Rader and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas Lupo and Christo Lupo.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 10 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Visiting hours are Tuesday, 6 to 8 pm.
