Dora G. (Dercolo) Giolito of Medford died on Friday, April 8, at the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. Born and raised in Malden, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Marianna (Capella) Dercolo.
Dora was the beloved wife of the late Aldo Giolito, and the devoted mother of Robert Giolito and his wife Lucy of Revere, and Donna Spagnolo and her husband Vincent of Saugus. She was the loving grandmother of Melissa Giolito of Revere, Renee Zarella and her husband Daniel of Melrose, Christina Cieri and her husband Rocco of Stoneham, and Steven Spagnolo of Reading. Dora was the loving great grandmother of Nicholas, Arianna, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Joseph, Matthew and Anthony, sister of the late Salvatore Dercolo and his late wife Marion, and sister-in-law of Gloria Giggi of Medford and her late husband Michael. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, April 13, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, April 12 from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
