Worcester – Deborah L. (Rawson) Fontaine, 58, of Worcester, died on Tuesday, April 5th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after a brief illness.
Mrs. Fontaine is survived by her husband of 42 years, Henry F. Fontaine Jr.; a son, Sean M. Fontaine of Milford; a daughter, Sherrie M. Nieber of Worcester; her mother, Anne (Banks) Rawson of Worcester; 3 brothers, Paul Rawson of South Carolina, Ronald Rawson and Roderick Rawson both of Worcester; a sister, Royanne Birtz of Florida; 7 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Deborah was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her father, Roy Rawson and a sister, Claudia Quinn.
Mrs. Fontaine was a lover of butterflies’ lover and had many other interests, including shopping and collecting trinkets. Deborah was the happiest when she was spending time with her family.
A private funeral service will be held and memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children 516 Carew Street Springfield, MA 01104.
