Laconia-----Kenneth Ross, 88, of 21 Ledges Drive, died at home on Friday, April 8, 2016.
Kenneth was born on January 2, 1928 in Tarrytown, NY the son of Robert W. and Alice (Walker) Ross. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Kenneth was an insurance investigator for Federation of Jewish Philanthropies Corporation. He enjoyed stamp collecting, woodworking, walking, photography and talking to people. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 196, New York.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of sixty years, Jane A. (Love ) Ross, of Laconia; three sons, Gordon Scott Ross and his wife, Amy, of Old Chatham NY , Douglas Alden Ross, of Sanbornton and David Walker Ross, of Laconia; nine grandchildren, Robert "Bobby" Ross, of MA, Alexandra "Alie" Ross, Stryker Ross both of , NY, Andrew "Andy" Ross, of NM, Shara Ross, of CO, Jennifer Luce, of Concord, Joy Lynn Johnson and her husband, Cory, of Northfield, Susan Marie Ross, of Laconia and David Ross, of Laconia; two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Ava Johnson. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by his brothers, Robert, George, Douglas and William Ross.
A time of reflection will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 1:30pm at the Taylor Community, 21 Ledges Drive, Laconia NH.
Burial will be held at a later date in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, NY.
