Dorothy (Medeiros) Botelho, 89, of New Bedford died April 4, 2016 peacefully at Sacred Heart Home.
She was the wife of the late Augustine "Gus" Botelho.
Born in Dartmouth, the daughter of the late Francisco and Maria (Lewis)Medeiros, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Mrs. Botelho was formerly employed by Beck's Seafood Restaurant.
She enjoyed dancing.
Survivors include her grandson, Kevin Pedro and his wife Stephanie of Rochester; a brother, George Medeiros of New Bedford; and a great-grandson, Jayden.
She was the companion of the late Valdimero "Val" Rebello and the sister of the late William Medeiros, Manuel Medeiros, Clotilde Mandeville, Mabel Wood and Laura King.
Her private Funeral Service was held Friday, April 8th in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial followed in Rural Cemetery.
