Stephen A. Higgins, age 64, of Fall River, passed away on April 4, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Jane H. (Arruda) Higgins for 44 years and son of the late George and Alice (Moniz) Higgins. Stephen was a U.S Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War Era, a maintenance mechanic for Swan Print and Dye for 40 years, a member of the Fall River Rod and Gun Club, and 1 year president of the Battleship Cove CB Club with the handle Golden Eagle. He also enjoyed hunting, camping, bowling, and building and working on race cars.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Noel Higgins (wife Michelle) and Jennifer Higgins.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10 A.M. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours on Wednesday from 4-8 P.M.
