Elizabeth A. (McCue) Trombly, 88, of Worcester died Thursday, April 7th in the Life Care Center of Auburn. Her husband of 54 years, Garnett G. Trombly died in 2001. She leaves four sons, Gerard E. and his wife, LuAnn of Michigan, Gary J. and his wife, Michelle of Fitchburg, Glenn F. and his wife, Charline of Worcester and James G. and his wife, Donna of Worcester; three daughters, JoAnn Hiitt, Betty Ann LeBlanc and Patricia M. Bicknell and her husband, Robert all of Worcester; a sister in law and best friend, Blanid Moran; 19 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Edward McCue and Mark McCue.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Raymond and Margaret (Ahearn) McCue. Elizabeth was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and worked at Harrity Appliance for over 25 years. After retiring Betty and Garny travelled many places and enjoyed life and retirement to the fullest.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Life Care Center of Auburn for the compassion and comfort they gave to Betty during her transition.
Her funeral is Tuesday, April 12th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, April 11th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
