FALL RIVER – Mary A. Cote, age 90 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Leo R. Cote and the daughter of the late Michael & Josephine (Leja) Szuba. Mary had worked as a Seamstress in the Garment Industry. She was a member of the Women’s Guild of the former Immaculate Conception Church.
She was the mother of William Cote (wife Natalie) of Tiverton, James Cote (wife Dianne) of Ipswich, MA, and the late Michael Cote (wife Sophia) of Mystic, CT; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Stella A. Lease, Helen C. Gosciminski, & John J. Szuba.
Mary’s private funeral was held from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, April 7, 2016 with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Bernadette’s Parish, Eastern Ave. Fall River.
