James A. DeFeo, 70, of Hudson, NH, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016, in St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, NH. He was born in Malden, MA on April 26, 1945, a son of the late Almando DeFeo and Myra (Williams) Haywood. James was a lover of music, cooking, martial arts and fixing cars. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. If someone needed a favor or their car to be fixed he would help without a second thought. He was dedicated to his family and always showed his parents the greatest respect. His daughters held a special place in his heart and he dedicated his life to them.
He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Lueders of Atkinson, NH and Diana DeFeo of Hudson, NH; two Brothers, MA, Almando DeFeo, Jr. of Sandown, NH and Wayne DeFeo of Tilton, NH; two sisters, Joanne Geisser of Sandown, NH and Robin DeFeo of Sandown, NH and six Grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Phillip DeFeo.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry.
