Mildred Anderson, 81, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 4 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, with Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anderson was born October 30, 1923 in Dodge County, Georgia to the late William Henry and Bessie Wynn Hendrix. She lived in Fitzgerald since 1948 and was a former employee of Fitzgerald Underwear and Floyd's Hamburger Shack. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: William Marion and Sherry Alligood, John and Bela Alligood, all of Fitzgerald, Stanley and Loretta Alligood of Sylvester, Allen Anderson of Hawkinsville and Steve Anderson of Fitzgerald; Daughter and son-in-law, Gennie and Steve Rathburn of Newnan; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; brother, W.D. Hendrix of Casey, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband, N.F. "Andy" Anderson.
