Cheryl (Dealy) Frohock 68 of Rockland, formerly a longtime resident of Whitman, died Sunday April 3. She was the beloved wife of John Frohock.
Born in Boston and raised in Hanover she was the daughter of the late Russell and Patricia (Bates) Dealy and a graduate of Hanover High, Class of 1965.
Cheryl had been a resident of Whitman for over 20 years where she had raised her family and for over 14 years had worked as a ward secretary at the Brockton Hospital.
She was an avid reader, and loved to crochet but her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and treasured the times spent with her many grandchildren.
In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her children Christine Kounavis and her husband Aristo of Pawtucket, RI, Marianne Monbleau and her husband Steven of Billerica, Maureen McCarthy and her husband Rick of Bridgewater, her stepchildren Jennifer Sullivan and her husband James of Weymouth, Jeanette Wallen and her husband Charles of NC and James Frohock of Norton and her brother Richard Dealy and his wife Joanne of Sandwich. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Charles, Jordan, Connor, Autumn, Zachary, Abigail, Emily, Alexander, Declan, Brenach, Rebekah, Aisling, Stephanie and Fianna and her nieces Meghan, Catherine and Lauren. She was the sister of the late Russell E. Dealy.
Her funeral service will be held Sunday April 10 at 4:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 2:00-4:00 PM.
