Taylor, Paul E., 88, of Louisville, passed into his eternal home on Sunday, April 3, 2016. He was born on January 8, 1928, one of seven children of Maude Myrtle and Leonard Arthur Taylor, and spent his childhood in Cub Run, Kentucky.
He was a Deacon of Peniel Missionary Baptist Church, a member of the gospel singing ministry, the Paul Taylor Singers, and an Air Force Veteran.
His wife, Anita Jean (Gipson) Taylor, and five siblings preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons: Doug Taylor (Alice), and Michael Taylor; grandson, Paul Taylor (Amanda), and their children: Madi, Ethan, Emma, and Nora; Grand-daughters: Amanda Taylor, and Sarah Taylor; a Brother: Bob Taylor (Norma Jean), and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:00PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is at Bethany Cemetery, with Visitation Wednesday 2:00-8:00pm.
