Helen Kinnane, age 90, of Somerset, passed away on April 3, 2016 at Clifton Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph P. Kinnane. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Josephine (Obery) Pierce. Helen was a 1942 graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and attended Thibodeau’s Business School. She was a resident of Swansea for most of her life. She worked at Avon Curtain office for many years and ended her career as a tax preparer at H&R Block. Helen belonged to the Classy Ladies and Knitting Group of St. Francis of Assisi. Most of all Helen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Helen leaves behind her beloved children William J. Kinnane of Somerset, Stephen Kinnane of Richardson, TX and Brian Kinnane of Somerset and grandchildren Brianna and Brandon Kinnane.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10 A.M. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
