Ettie M. Courtemanche, 72, of Greenville Avenue, Johnston died Saturday in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Donald H. Courtemanche, Sr.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Raymond and Ettie M. (Richards) Fortin. She had lived in Johnston her whole life.
She had been a teacher aide with the Johnston School Department .
She leaves her children, Donald H. Courtemanche, Jr of Providence, Keith A. Courtemanche of North Smithfield and Robin D. Turchetta of Cranston and 4 grandchildren, Joseph and Ashley Turchetta, Jason Grossi and Catarena Calise and 3 great-grandchildren, Robert, Lillanna and Raymond.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 10am in the Highland Memorial Park Chapel, Johnston. Visitation Wednesday 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Greenville Common, Greenville.in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Church Food Bank, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919
