Elaine (Durham) Saubert August 6, 1952 - April 3, 2016 INDIANAPOLIS--Elaine (Durham) Saubert, 63, of Indianapolis went to be with the Lord after an extended illness. She was born August 6, 1952, in Anderson the daughter of Ray and Audrey Faye (Cheiser) Durham. She was a member of Bethany Christian church and a loving homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting and crafts. She was a talented clothing seamstress. She is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, Gene Saubert of Indianapolis whom she married April 6, 1973 in Anderson; two daughters, Niki (Aaron) Taylor of Dayton, OH and Brandy Saubert (Justin Schmidt) of Chicago, IL; two grandsons, Joshua and Benjamin Taylor; two sisters, Marilyn Saubert and Teresa (Clarke) Falcione all of Anderson; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joyce Penrod. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday April 7, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Kent Stookey officiating.
