Evans – Mr. Jeff S. Collman, beloved husband of Joy Campbell Collman, entered into rest on Sunday, April 3, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service.
Jeff has been a loving husband, father and grandfather for many years. He was an educator for 32 years, and it was his goal to help as many children and families as possible. Jeff was selfless and always put others first and he was always willing to lend a hand to others. His most favorite thing was playing and doing crafts with his grandchildren. He loved to travel with his wife, Joy, and took her to as many places as possible. He had many buddies to hunt, fish and golf with, and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
In addition to his wife, Joy, he is survived by his two daughters; Erica Lloyd (Donald) and Caroline Graham (Jeremy), his grandchildren; Ella Claire, Collman, Charlton and Evelyn Grace, his brothers; Craig Collman, Mark Collman (Tana), and Chris Collman (Michele), his sister; Linda Korn (Jackie), as well as two sisters in law: Sharon LaPierre (Donald) and Sheila Griffin (Steve) and a brother in law; Allen Campbell.
