Betty Cooper Crow, 87, of Tifton passed away Friday, April 1, 2016, at Maple Court Assisted Living in Tifton. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Crow at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church in Tifton with Dr. Hugh Ward officiating. Mrs. Crow will be laid to rest at a later date with her husband, Art Crow, at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
Born October 29, 1928 in White Plains, New York, Mrs. Crow was the daughter of the late Alfred Cooper and Elsa Ballrich Cooper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Art Crow; and a brother, Al Cooper. She was a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Crow is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Douglas and Julie Smith of Tifton, David Wright Smith of Greensboro, North Carolina and Bruce Cooper Smith of Towson, Maryland; seven grandchildren, Justin Smith, Jessica Smith, Dustin Sanders, Amanda Branson, Taylor Smith, Darin Sanders and Hillary Smith; and three great-grandchildren.
