Obituary

Maxie M..Olbrych, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on April 1, 2016. He was born on December 7, 1922 in Chicopee. He was the son of the late Jedzyj and Apolonia (Slezak) Olbrych. Maxie was the owner of the Super Fry Restaurant for 40 years. He is predeceased by his wife Alice (Nadeau) Olbrych who passed away in 2011. He leaves 2 daughters, Janet Olbrych of Chicopee and Denise Trask of Chicopee; he was predeceased by his brothers, Walter, Frank, Freddie, Tony and Albin; and his sister, Stella. He leaves his very special grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Trask and his wife Elizabeth of Indian Orchard and Melanie J. Ruiz and her husband Daniel of Chicopee. He also leaves his beloved dog Kali. Maxie was a daily morning coffee patron at Petro’s restaurant. He had a strong love for his Polish background and music; you could always find him enjoying the polka bands at Pulaski Park which he took great pride in decorating. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wed. April 6, 2016 at 11 a.m at Holy Name at Assumption Church, 109 Springfield St,Chicopee. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
