Joe was Born on March 19, 1930 in Ventura.
He and his father, mother, brothers, and sisters were one of the original families who settled in the "Tortilla Flats." That is where he met the love of his life, Dorothy. They where married on December 13, 1947. They raised their 3 boys. Joe was the owner of Barrios Janitorial for 60 years.
Joe is survived by his wife Dorothy Barrios; his sons Charles Barrios (and wife Linda), and Ronnie Barrios, Sr.; his sisters Helen Adams and Kathy Conrad; his grandchildren Richard Valverde (and his wife Raylene), Rhonica Barrios, Cornia Barrios (and her husband Renee Barreto), Ronnie Barrios Jr. (and his wife Jennie); his 16 great grandchildren; and his 16 great great grandchildren.
Pa Pa you were the backbone to the Barrios family. We will forever hold our memories of you close to our hearts.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Antonia Barrios; son Larry Barrios, Sr.; brother Richard Barrios, Sr. (and his wife Betty); sisters Linda Barrios Menjivar and Rosita Rodriguez; grandsons Larry Barrios, Jr. and Joseph Charles Barrios III; and daughter-in-law Dolores "Lola" Barrios.
