John T. Cambio, 96, of Scenery Lane, died Thursday, March 31st in the Greenville Center, Greenville. He was the husband of Carmella (Zeoli) Cambio. They had been married for 74 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late, Thomas and Vincenzina (Marcaccio) Cambio. He had lived in Johnston previously living in Providence.
He had been a supervisor with Leviton Manufacturing in Warwick before retiring in 1982.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Joyce Costanzo and her husband Joseph of Greenville and his grandchildren, Sherri Costanzo and Kimberly Nelson and her husband Josh. He was the brother of the late Nicola “Nicholas” and Arthur Cambio, Rose Pompelli and Pietrina Fera.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, April 5th at 9:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 4th Street, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday Morning 9-9:30am.
