TEWKSBURY - Thomas K. Johnson, age 45, a member of a well known Tewksbury family, died
unexpectedly on Friday, July 1, in Lowell.
He was born in Concord, May 23, 1960, a son of Edward and Elizabeth ( McComiskey) Johnson
of Tewksbury, with whom he resided.
He was a lifelong resident of Tewksbury and had graduated Tewksbury Memorial High School.
He was employed as a framing contractor in home construction throughout the Merrimack Valley.
He was a communicant of St. William’s Church in Tewksbury.
Mr. Johnson was also an accomplished mountain biker.
Besides his parents, he is survived by four brothers, Edward P. Johnson and his wife Karen
(Galvin) of Tewksbury, and Gary Johnson and his wife Theresa (Halton) all of Tewksbury,
Richard W. Johnson and Eric M. Johnson both of Chelmsford; two sisters, Susan Gilbert and her
husband Lawrence of Tewksbury and Cheryl Ashmore of Worcester; thirteen nieces and nephews,
Kim, Melissa, Laura, Julie, Teri, Nicole, Keith, Christopher, Sarah, Kate, Daniel, Emily, and
Brian; and seven great nieces and nephews; several aunts, and uncles and great aunts and great
uncles and cousins.
His funeral service was held Wednesday, July 6, in the funeral home. Burial was in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01876,
will be appreciated.
