Irene V. (Cornu) Curry age 83 of Salem, NH, died Friday at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
She was born in Lawrence, MA, where she grew up and was educated. She was the daughter of the late William and Adrienne (Deshais) Cornu. She was a resident of Salem, NH for over 50 years.
Irene worked for Salemhaven Nursing Home in Salem, NH. She enjoyed crocheting, stained glass, and watching “Murder She Wrote” She was also an avid reader, especially books by Nora Roberts.
Irene is survived by her husband James Curry of Salem, NH
Son: Lou Berthel and his fiancé Deb Poulin of Sidney, ME
Sisters: Janet and her husband John Fichera of Methuen, MA, and Carol McQueen of NH

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 5th from 10-11 AM, followed by funeral services at 11 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
