Hector Edgardo Ramos, 56, a resident of Lawrence, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, Hector came to Lawrence when he was 9 years old. He had worked in many jobs, the last of which was installing heating systems in new homes.
The son of the late Galo Ramos, Hector is survived by his mother, Virginia Torres, his common law wife, Maria Mejias; his brother, Alexis Colon; his sisters, Nydia Lopez and Sonia Ramos; his children, Hector Luis Ramos Garcia, Hector Vasquez, Benjamin Vasquez, Sonia Vasquez, Steffanie Ramos and Christian Ramos. Hector was the father of the late Edgar Ramos and is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Haverhill St., Lawrence. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, also in Lawrence.
