Kevin F. Cain, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 31, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 50 years old.
Kevin was born in Boston on December 13, 1965, a son of the late James E. Cain and Eleanor M. (Ahearn) Cain. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated at St. Catherine's Parochial School and graduated from Don Bosco High School in 1984. Kevin later graduated from Boston University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies. Kevin worked as a Paralegal for Travelers Insurance for 10 years. Kevin was the proud owner of Pro Music Productions for 20 years. Music was Kevin's passion, he would volunteer his time for the people of Charlestown to DJ various town events and functions.
Kevin is the devoted husband of 23 years to Shannon M. (Bowden) Cain. He is the loving father to Joanne, Eoghan, Jordynn, Shai-Ann, and Joseph. He is the beloved brother of Michael "Smokey" Cain and the late Jimmy Cain. He is the son-in-law of Joanne and the late Alan Jones. He is the Godfather to Melanie and little Jimmy Cain. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kevin's Funeral on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 10 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. His burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
