In Taunton, March 31, 2016 Marie (Grecco) Correia, Age 75, passed away in Longmeadow Nursing Home while surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness. Marie was the wife of the late George Correia. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Charles & Mary (Fantacone) Grecco. Marie had resided in North Dighton for more than twenty years and was formerly of Taunton. She was employed at the former Eureka Company in Norton. Marie enjoyed traveling, visiting casinos and above all cherished her time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Marie is survived by her children Charlene Ridley and her husband Jeffrey of North Dighton, Linda Kaeppel of CT and her late son James Correia Jr. She also leaves her siblings Charles Grecco, Robert Grecco, Loraine Lopes, Jacqueline Medeiros and Jeannette Doucette. Marie also leaves her many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Monday, April 4th at 7 pm. Visiting hours are prior to the service from 5-7 pm. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
