James Paul Coates, 69, passed away March 26,2016.
He was a retired brakeman for Norfolk Southern Railroad, an employee of Oxmoor Hyundai, Air Force veteran.
James was preceded in death by his wife Eliza (Diaz) Coates.
He is survived by five children and six grandchildren; brother John Coates; sisters Vivian Lopez and Sue Parkerson.
Funeral service Tuesday at 9:30 A. M. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery Central.
Visitation will be Monday 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home
