WORCESTER: Anita M. (Trepanier) Heighton, 54, of Mower Street died Wednesday, March 30 in Rose Monahan Hospice after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 32 years, Michael A. Heighton, her father Paul J. Trepanier of Worcester, her mother Gunnlaug P. Magnusson of Leicester, two brothers Edward Trepanier and his wife Becky of Florida and Thomas Trepanier and his wife Evelyn of Worcester, several nieces, nephews and many close loving friends.
Anita was born in Worcester and graduated from Leicester High School. During high school she worked at Hotdog Annie's. She later worked for 16 years at Thom McCann Shoe Co. and then worked for 16 years at Verizon Yellow Pages as an administrative assistant. Anita and her husband Mike were spotters for many years traveling across the country with the PGA Tour. She enjoyed trips to the casino and loved playing Texas Hold Em. She was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan.
