Manchester– Gloria E. Doucet, 89, died March 29, 2016 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester NH on September 17, 1926 the daughter of Omer and Emilia (Breton) Dion.
She was a graduate of Manchester West high School.
Prior to her retirement she worked for Buskin Shoe as well as Bank East.
She was a lifelong parishioner of Ste. Marie Church.
She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Robert W. Doucet on April 22, 2009.
Family members include 3 sons, Mark Doucet, Jay Doucet, and Scott Doucet and his wife, Celeste, all of Manchester, 4 grandchildren, Tiffany Bourque, and her husband Joseph, Stephanie Doucet, Robert Doucet, Noah Doucet and 2 great grandchildren, Talan Bourque and Knight Bourque.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A prayer service will take place on Tuesday at 10 AM in the funeral home.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
