George B. Gregoire, 67, of Derry, NH, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. He was born in Berlin, NH on June 9, 1948, the son of the late Lionel and Yvonne (Ouellette) Gregoire. George had a Master's degree in engineering and worked for Lucent Technologies in North Andover, Ma for 33 years retiring in 2001. He also spent his time working part time for JIC, Inc. in Derry. George loved riding his motorcycle, hunting with his friends and coaching his sons’ sports. George also enjoyed being a Boy Scout Leader for Derry troop #141.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Gloria J. (Russell) Gregoire of Derry; two sons, Timothy R. Gregoire of Bernalillo, NM and Christopher G. Gregoire of Derry; two grandsons, Brett S. and Sean A. Gregoire of Derry; his sister, Jeanne Simari of CA; his sisters-in-law, Norma Russell of MA and Kathy Day of GA; his nephew, Justin Deal and his wife, Candyce of CA; his nieces, Peg Fisher, Brenda Labarra, Kim Brown, Dawn Hilliard, Kristi Russell and Trina Day-Duverger, her husband, Robert of Bow, NH; his great nephew and nieces; Nicolas and Casey Bowes and Zoie Duverger as well as several more great nieces and nephews.
There are no services scheduled at this time. There will be a Celebration of George’s Life in late spring. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, is assisting the family with arrangements.
