Julia M. (Capozzola) Wuethrich, age 90, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence J. Wuethrich. Born in Woburn on October 27, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Sofia (Scodalupa) and John Capozzola.
What brought Mrs. Wuethrich the most enjoyment was spending time with her daughter Lisa and her family, and also with her sisters and their families.
Julia is survived by her daughter Lisa and her husband David Hunihan of Cheshire; a grandson Joshua Hunihan; sisters Frances Chaison of Dedham and Lillian Capozzola of Woburn; her nieces , Janice Mullen of Dedham, Dorothy and her husband Charles Trites of Peabody, Susanne Bourque of Tyngsboro, Jane and her husband Robert Galante of Woburn, and Julie and her husband Thomas Murphy of Revere; nephews Kenneth Chaison of Bethesda, MD, and Barry and his wife Carleen Bane of Woburn, Philip Bane of Freedom, NH, and Richard Brusseau of Florida; and her stepson Don Wuethrich of Tennessee. Mrs. Wuethrich was predeceased by her sisters, Virginia Brusseau Gorrasi, Nellie and her husband Earl Bane, Anna and her husband Edward Costello, brother-in-law Kenneth Chaison, niece-in-law Mary Chaison, three nephews William and John Brusseau and Robert Bane and stepson Chris Wuethrich.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrated in St Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, Friday, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at church. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Winchester. Contributions may be made in Julia’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
