Obituary

Andover—Marvin Sayles, 88, of 117 Salem Street, died Sunday, March 27, 2016. He was a career veteran who served 24 years in Korea, Vietnam, and other places around the world. His greatest experience of military service was when he volunteered for duty to the Naval Air Facility Station at McMurdo Sound Antarctica.
He is survived by two sisters; Mrs. Carol Ellcock of Boston, and Mrs. Doretta Gardner of Forest Hills, New York, nieces; Mrs. Harold Phillips of Norwell, Mrs. Dolores McClain of Woodhaven, New York, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted on April 8, 2016 at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Massachusetts at noon.
Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service from at 11: 00 AM to noon.
