Obituary

Leautta Mynika Ash was born in San Fernando, Trinidad, West Indies on January 24, 1914, and passed away on March 25, 2016. Fondly known as Ms. Mini. Ms. Mini spent the large portion of her early years in Venezuela before migrating to the United States in 1974.
Ms. Mini was a skilled chef and baker. She will forever be remembered for her delicious cooking and amazing baking abilities. She was a genius cake decorator. Her creations would be viewed at weddings, birthdays, as well as other memorable moments.
In addition to her culinary skills, our beloved was a skilled dress maker who designed many beautiful creations. One could have viewed her designs on any given day.
Ms. Mini was a beautiful women inside out. She was living and caring with the kindest heart known to mankind. Ms. Mini loved and feared her savior. She attended church every Sunday and volunteered many hours sharing her gift of interpreting the bible. She wasn't a minister but "could minister the gospel".
Ms. Mini was blessed with a large loving family. She is survived by her son Trevor Ash, and her daughter, Victorina Monday, 16 loving grandchildren, Andrea, Adrian, Anson, Audlon, Alistair, and Dawn, Steve, AmmMarie, Antonia, Noreen, KerryAnn, Lukisha, Clyde Jr., Elizabeth, Kesner, and Aleisha. ALso survived by 31 great-grandchildren, ans 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Ms. Mini was preceded in death by her son Clyde Ash, and her brothers and sisters.
Mini will be dearly missed by her family and friends; however we celebrate in the fact that she is at peace with her creator and we will meet again one fine day!
A funeral service will be held at the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 1:00PM. Bishop Doyle officiating. Interment will be private.
