Nathaniel John Ruby, 22, of Manchester, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Lowell, MA. He was born on May 21, 1993 in Lowell, MA, a son of John Ruby and Donna (Perry) Thompson. Nathaniel was raised in both Lowell and Derry and was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Class of 2012.
Nathaniel was a 3rd Degree Black belt with Sidekick Taekwondo Studio in Londonderry; he was both a teacher and mentor to many students there. He worked for Juliano's Italian Pizzeria in Londonderry. He loved lobster, being outdoors, hiking, and camping. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Nathaniel is also survived by his step-mother, Mary Beth Ruby; step-father, Kenneth Thompson; his siblings, Kyle Ruby, Evan Worley, Benjamin Thompson, Audrey Thompson, Justin Brown, and Jonathan Thompson; as well as grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Memorial calling hours were held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 1 – 5 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service followed at 5:00pm in the funeral home.
