Edwin Kent Closser February 3, 1940 - March 28, 2016 Edwin Kent Closser, 76, of Anderson died March 28, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born February 3, 1940 in Anderson to Herbert Closser and Thelma (McKee) Closser McDaniel. He ran a restaurant for 29 years and drove truck for Schneider Trucking. He loved golf, bowling, camping, traveling, fishing and being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Christina (Young) Closser, whom he married in Fort Wayne in 1982, his six children, Kent (Lisa) Closser, Judy (Ron) James, Aletha (Robert) Brown, Brenda (Mark) Leach, Christina (Robert) Thompson, Heather (Jay) Pace all of Anderson, half sister, Georgianna Coldren; sister-in-law, Janet McDaniel; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nancy & Daniel Young of Columbus Grove, OH; eighteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Jeanne Garcia, brother, David Closser, half-brother, James McDaniel, half sister, Madonna Walker, brother-in-law, Dan Coldren, granddaughter, Janelle Brown. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at Greater Light Church; 317 Marine Drive, Anderson, IN 46013. Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service handled the funeral arrangements.
