Helen (Grinuk) English, age 92, passed away on March 25, 2016 at the Loomis House Nursing Home in Holyoke. She was born on Aug. 8, 1923 in Chicopee. Helen was a daughter of the late Daniel and Antonia (Matuk) Grinuk. She was a former communicant of Holy Name of Jesus Parish. She is predeceased by her husband Frank English who passed away on Sept. 3, 2013. She leaves 2 daughters, Gail Oberg of Belchertown and Bette Hess and her husband Donald of Belchertown; 4 grandchildren, Spencer Oberg and Nicole Oberg of Belchertown, Brett Francis Lord and his wife Danielle of Belchertown and Gina Prickett and her husband Jamie of South Hadley. She also leaves her beloved great grandchild Leodore William Lord. She is predeceased by her 5 siblings. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Fri., April 1, 2016 from 10:00-12 noon at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A prayer service will start at 12 noon in the funeral home followed by burial in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
