Robert J. “Bobby” Risoldi, age 82, 0f Raynham, formerly of Attleboro and Taunton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday March 28, 2016 at his group home.
Born in Boston, MA on July 20, 1933, he was the dear son of the late Joseph and Helen (McCalsky) Rosoldi.
He is survived by his loving sister Gail (Risoldi) Palin and her husband David of East Providence. He was the cherished uncle of Judith Williams of Pawtucket, Jennalee Lopes and her husband David of East Greenwich and Bobbi-jo Williams and her fiancé Mike Harrington both of Pawtucket. He was the adoring great uncle of Bree Garrey and Matthew and Owen Lopes.
Bobby previously resided at the Paul A. Dever State School in Taunton for many years. His many thoughtful caretakers who took excellent care of him and became close friends throughout the years will sadly miss him.
Bobby loved spending time with family and going to his daily program and participating in community service. He especially enjoyed trips on the Vista Jubilee with family, collecting watches and clocks, and listening to old music while smoking his pipe and drinking ice coffee.
His funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Monday, April 4th at 1:00 P.M. in St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours have been omitted and in lieu of flowers, Robert’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Arc of Northern Bristol County, 437 Bay St., Taunton, MA 02780.
