Alice M. Gross
August 13, 1928- March 26, 2016
Our dearest and beloved mother, Alice M. (Lazenby) Gross, 87, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne after a brief illness
She was born on August 13, 1928 in Anderson, the daughter of Orville and Hazel ( Cleaver ) Lazenby.
Our mother was involved with many social, community and charitable activities and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Her passions; God, Family, and an insatiable appetite for reading!
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Deweese and husband Kenneth of McCordsville and granddaughter Rachel Marie Deweese; her son, Richard L. Gross II and wife Kristen of Fort Wayne and grandchildren Brittany Ann Gross and Richard L Gross III; and her daughter, Susan Hufford and husband Scott of Mesa, Arizonia. She is also survived by a sister, Helen Sidwell of Anderson, and a brother, Earl Lazenby of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lloyd Gross, her parents and a sister, Eleanor Lazenby.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson officiated by Rev. Kevin Bausman. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
Private entombment will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Alternatives Incorporated of Madison County or St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Foundation.
