Andover – William J. Yonaker, 45 of Andover, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at his home. Born in Lawrence on November 10, 1970, he was the son of June (Kaczynski) Yonaker of Andover and the late William Yonaker, Jr. He attended Lawrence schools and graduated from the Greater Lawrence Technical School in 1989.
Bill was a devoted father and caretaker of his mother. He worked as an auto body technician with Dick’s Auto Body in Somerville for 17 years and recently with Mike’s Auto Body in Malden. He was highly skilled in his profession and enjoyed riding motorcycles in his free time.
Bill will be deeply missed by his mother, June; his daughter, Emma Yonaker of Dracut; his girlfriend, Sue Brooks of Lowell; his former wife, Kelly Yonaker of Dracut; his former in-laws, Robert and Patricia Garnhum of Tyngsboro; his former brother-in-law, Kevin Garnhum and his wife, Lenore of Haverhill; his nephew, Joseph Garnhum of Haverhill; and life-long friend, Timothy Douglas of Andover. He is predeceased by his father William J. Yonaker Jr. and his sister, Kimberly Yonaker.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Bill’s life by gathering for calling hours at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 4 – 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Emma Yonaker Fund, RTN Federal Credit Union, 345 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
