Rita M. (Frost) Trudeau 85, formerly of Clinton St. died March 25, 2016 at The Ballou Home. She was the wife of the late Albert Trudeau. Born in Natick, MA she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mabelle (Greenslade) Frost. Rita was the secretary at WOON Radio for many years. She was a member and secretary of the Kennedy Manor Association. Rita was an avid sports fan and loved to watch the Patriots and Red Sox, she also enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by a son Albert R. Trudeau II of Bartow, FL, six daughters Nancy Morales and Annette Trudeau-Thuot both of Harrisville, Patricia Goddard, Sandra Racicot and Judith Glaude all of Woonsocket, and Kathleen LaPlant of Franklin, a sister Mabelle Buscemi of Palm Bay, FL, seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Edward Frost Jr., Ruth Upham, and Dolores Frost.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Theresa’s Church, Harrisville, RI. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting hours are Wednesday 6-8 PM.
